BART Directions
Take the Downtown Berkeley exit. Walk south on Shattuck Avenue towards Kittredge Street. Make a left on Kittredge Street and Great China will be on the left.
Parking
Great China offers validated parking seven days a week after 7pm. The parking spaces are located at the Touchless Car Wash across the street at 2176 Kittredge Street. The spaces are located on the west side of the property where the car wash is in operation before 7pm. Please do not block any gas, water, or air pumps. There are also additional spaces located on the Bancroft side. Please pay $5 inside the gas station store first. You will receive a small proof of payment to place on the dash of the vehicle and also a receipt which we will validate for you after your meal. Take the validated receipt back to the gas station store where they will return your $5.
Please do not park behind the restaurant because those spaces are rented out. You may pull into the driveway breifly if you are picking up a take-out order but you must be inside the restaurant while your car is on the lot. Thanks for your cooperation!
Waiting Room
We have recently added a waiting room to Great China. It is located on the right side of the main entry up two small steps. If you are a local artist or Chinese artist outside of the area and would like to display and/or sell your art in our waiting room free of charge please send an email to james@greatchinaberkeley.com.
