RESERVATIONS POLICY
Reservations can be made for parties of 6 or more. Parties of 6-14 guests may book online at Yelp Reservations or click on the “Reserve Now” link below. For special events, wine pairing dinners, or parties over 14 guests please call us at 510-843-7996. We answer our phones from 11:00am-8:30pm.

For parties of 25 guests or more please send your requests to events@greatchinaberkeley.com (additional policies for large parties will apply). Our event planner will notify you of these policies upon receipt of the email request. Please allow for 3 business days for email responses.

All reservations must meet a minimum charge of $35 per person (after tax and service charge). 18% service charge shall be added to parties of 6-24 guests. 20% service charge shall be added to parties of 25 guests or more.

Cancellations must be made by phone or online at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation time. Any no-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a non-refundable cancellation fee of $35 per person.

WHAT IF I HAVE LESS THAN 6 GUESTS?
We reserve many of our tables in our dining room for walk-ins. If you have less than 6 guests we welcome you as a walk-in. Walk-ins are seated on a first-come-first-serve basis depending on table availability. Wait times may vary.

SEATING TIME LIMITS
Due to high demand and to allow all of our guests the opportunity to dine with us, we kindly ask our guests to honor our seating time limit policy of 1.5 hours for parties of 1-5 guests and 2 hours for parties of 6 or more.

TIME EXTENSIONS
If you need more time for your event we require an additional fee of $35 per person (as listed by the reservation guest count) for every 2 hours extra time requested. We require you to arrange this at least 1 week prior to the event and you must receive a confirmation from Great China in order for us to honor the time extension.
